In parting  make yourself a good set of jumpers . Superflex Welding cable
and parrot beaks. And silver solder connections. Store jumpers like Valmart
Canadian tire etc ? no good   -----  too many voltage drops. 

  Dad has a set of 00 welding cable jumpers at the orchard.  :)  THOSE 
carry some juice!  Problem is finding clamps that will carry it efficiently.  

Most have too little contact surface that will handle that bif of wire. The 
pos cable has kind of stiff insulation on it too so it's a bit unruley when 
it's cold.  The neg is nice and soft.  They've pretty well been retired 
though.  Places to plug in a battery charger now mostly.  They use a 
healthy "purchased" set for little things that go dead now.
