Fw: [Vwdiesel] Rad support and other parts needed

I wandered around various auto parts places on Midwest Ave (runs parallel to
Brimley, between Lawrence/Eglinton) a couple of years ago while waiting for
a radio install...
...there were at least a couple of jobbers who were selling new A2 GTI grill
replacements -- 7" H4 hi/lo and 5" H1 driving lights.  If memory serves me,
this included the rad support, grill, lights for about $300 Cdn.

I installed a similar setup on my '91 TD, with 12ga wiring and relays, and
am mind-boggled at the improvement... the H4's are so good that the driving
lights are redundant!  Using relays would prob'ly improve any setup, and
reduce the load going thru the light switch.

A setup such as this would probably light up a deer half a mile away...
