The shop I just got a head at told be to use the stuff.  I'll do it plain
first, thank you.

It just seems too much like adding a bottle of green slime tire sealant
(includes propylene glycol) everytime you get a new tire.

Good choice Val.  That's an excellent way to cause you to change a heater
core as well.  Any shop that advocates using cooling system sealant every
time you install a head can't be too confident fo their work...
