It would take at least 6 or 7surges/revs to build up to where it stopped
building compression on the gauge. The hose is pretty big.
Rechecked my pump timing today also while I had it apart to make sure I did
it right the other day. Came out about the same at .90 mm. I was curious
while I had the gauge in and pulled the cold start out to see what happens
and it advanced it to about 1.15mm. Not sure if that is good but that is
what I saw. Also used the re-dimple technique suggested by James and Loren
for my heat shields and seemed to work great. I don't imagine it is
something that should be repeated again on the same shields but sure seemed
to work at least once and saved the day. .
thanks,
Bart
