It's the hole in the casting the lifter rides up and down in.  I've 
never had to come up with it's real name before and hope I never do 
again.  It's beyond scored.  It's shot, it's scored, it's taken home the 
trophy.  There's like a divot missing.  I didn't even get as far as the 
guide.  Those are replaceable so I didn't even look at it.  Head casting 
is too, just at a much much higher price. 

I suspect that it may be possible to bring it back to life, just will 
take a shop with some imagination and a really good guarantee. 

I don't know one off hand, though I am looking.  In 10 minutes of 
calling through the Ft. Worth phone book, I can't find a used head for 
sale in any salvage yard.
