 The impression I got with the PT Cruiser was that the brains controlling
the engine and transmission were just not happy working together. Couple
that with the anemic torque and I can see why it couldn't maintain a steady
speed. I was glad to get back in my own car after the trip was over!

PT Cruiser is GM speak for "Tall Neon", being the same suspension, engine
and all.  I saw a factory pimped out turbo sport model of one beside me at a
light the other day that boasted some really fast looking special factory
limited edition stickers.  All I could do was laugh and wonder "Why, oh why,
oh why?"  I think the guy in the kroozer wondered what I was on....
