Thanks Loren and Mark for this info. I gave it a quick degrease and wash, then dragged 
back into the garage tonight. Managed to get the crank pulleys off, but had to block the 
crank with wood to do it - I blocked it in several places to distribute the pressue, as it 
took a 3ft bar to break the big crank bolt - I had visions of cracking the block, but it went 
fine. Tomorrow I hope to have the head off and take a look at the bores. The cam looks 
a lot worse than I remember, so I hope the last few years of declining maintenance 
haven't done too much damage...
