You mean pulling side to side, right? Did that, it's tight. That's why I was surprised to 
find the axial play.

As much as I am tempted to dump all the parts on my bench in the dishwasher, I can't 
bear to do it. It's a new house, and I haven't even finished it yet, so the wife might get a 
little pissed at the idea of engine parts in the kitchen... ;-)

ps: I spent most of the day puttering about on this, good fun. I just need a parts washer 
now...
