[Vwdiesel] Parts Washer

One morning, during a long part-time engine rebuild on an airhead, I dreamed 
about a  dishwasher for the bulk of the cleaning.  When my wife got up I told 
her I wanted to find a cheap used dishwasher for cleaning parts.  I then 
corrected myself and said I'd like to find a free one that someone was getting rid 
of during a remodel.  I went off to work at the construction jobsite (I do 
wood floors).  That day was the first day working on the floor of a remodel.  I 
asked the superintendant if he ever got rid of working dishwashers during 
remodels.  He said yes, in fact there was one there that worked fine there that he 
was getting rid of.  When I took it home, my wife asked me if we needed a 
dishwasher more for parts or for dishes (we didn't have one for either).  I knew 
she had a really good argument for using it in the kitchen.  I said well, I'd 
keep my eyes open for another one.  About two weeks later there was one on the 
street in front of the rental house next door.  When I asked the tenants, they 
said have at, it didn't do anything at all.  When I got it home and tipped it 
over, I noticed that the float was caught on the electrical switch.  No 
expense, and two minutes of tinkering had me a second dishwasher.  Two years later 
and many dishes and parts they are still both going strong.  Thank you
