  I went ahead and tried disconnecting and plugging the line to the 
boost enrichment.  Admittedly it was mostly with the A/C running  
and a little idling to keep the car cooler inside but I just got the 
worst mileage since break-in, 34.8mpg.  It usually gets 36 to 37 
with the A/C and 39 without.  So I had a lack of power AND the 
same or slightly worse mileage.
  I've always found I get better mileage with more fuel under boost, 
than with less. <shrug>
