IMHO  --you did pretty well ---takes a lot of fuel to climb those rocks.

Your figures are in my files.

Notice all the brown lawns. --- a careless dropped match and I loose everything.

Economically the mileage does not mean anything  --really  --  but the fun
I have getting there sure does.

A lot of things changed after I started to lean her out  --the turbo started to work better
the blotter test shows a lot less soot in oil per mile ---  and she seems to run better
every day. --  Bunny Bondo is one slick rabbit right now.   By the way the pump is
a 107 with LDA.

PS: I did that trip in a Landrover towing a trailer. (made from VW front axles --beetle)
that german steel was some good steel.
