I've noticed how most of the newer cars are this way. Either that or the
roads or I am getting really bad! Dad's old Mercedes would just go
straight down the road. Even after 3 almost "totals" of the car, it still
did better staying on the road than most newer cars. My 66 Mustang
stayed in the lane better even and they were no feat of engineering.
Glad to hear someone other than me has noticed that the least bit
of inattention starts sending you off the road.
Dad's Ford pu is a real piece of work. You can't keep it straight in the
lane unless you do like in the old movies. Keep bouncing the steering
wheel back and forth at a rythmic pace. Then it's not so bad. Might
try that Nate. It looks and feels silly but it sure saves your sanity when
driving THAT thing!
