[Vwdiesel] A4 handling issues

We have spots on the interstate- and even state highways running through
town- where the wheel tracks are almost like wagon-wheel ruts in dirt roads.

We see that here, where they keep sticking stop lights on the highway
instead of a merge lane. In the summer you get some pretty good ruts
and lumpy road at those stop lights. You can feel the ruts on a good
share of the road anywhere but that's much different than a car that
just won't go straight. It tends to dart around rather than wander. It
gets especially bad about now as all the studded tires take their toll on
the road surface. Of course we now get twice the wear that we used to
since liability won't let tire shops only install two snow tires. They have
to install all four. They're pushing for a ban on studs again. Might
actually make it this time.
