[Vwdiesel] rare diesel van

This isn't a VW topic, but it is about diesels.
I've been looking for a decent diesel vanagon to replace my last one. After not
having much luck, I ended up buying an 83 dodge conversion van with a 6cyl
diesel! As far as I know, dodge never sold such a model. It turns out it has a
Nissan N/A 6cyl diesel from Canada and installed by the P.O. Any ever heard of
this?
He didn't speak english, so I didn't get all the info I would have liked to. I
think he said it came out of a maxima?
Well, I drove it 350 miles from NJ back to my place in VT without a problem.
It's getting over 20 mpg to boot!
My big question is where to find info on the engine. I don't know what size it
is. I've heard of SD28's. This is a 1/2 ton conversion van; I figure it has to
be over 3 liters, right?
