[Vwdiesel] Clutch cable install - Success or not ?

Could you describe where abouts this might be ?  Its certainly worth a look.

  Sounds more and more like when the little metal reivet that the clutch pushrop presses on popped out on mine.  It got more and more funky as the pushrod imbedded itself.
