[Vwdiesel] 4cyl Audi diesel engine available

Entire 4cyl naturally aspirated working diesel engine from 1982 Audi 4000, 
complete with injection pump,  alternator and 5 speed transmission, ready 
to drop into a chassis. Engine was running fine when taken from donor car 
(roll-over with crushed roof. Didn't hit anything.)

Owner is foreign car mechanic who just doesn't have time to finish his 
project and realized it yesterday.

I was in his shop Monday with my 85 Jetta TD, and he showed me the project 
car with the diesel engine already sitting in the engine bay but not hooked 
up.  I said I'd circulate the notice of availability. Number on the block 
is hard to read but looks like CR 514480.

Engine is located in Sandusky, Ohio, between Cleveland and Toledo. 
Owner-mechanic is Keith Kreger, 419-627-9626.  His secretary is Amanda. She 
probably doesn't know anything about the engine but will take your message 
and help you get in touch with Keith, who is usually out in the shop under 
a car.

Keith is an honest and reliable person who has been keeping the exotic cars 
in our area running for the past 10 years or so. I'd be glad to forward 
your email messages to him.
