May have the solution...(MAYBE:o)
According to Haynes the flywheel in 5 cylinder gassers may
or may not be attached with offset bolts. Thus new flywheels
have to be marked after attachment..(or removal if not
previously done so). We had a 1.9 carb then 2.0 and 2.1 and
2.2 and a 2.3 for Audi quattro lovers I believe
