[Vwdiesel] 1.6 TD vanagon smoking problem

Set the fuel screw for max EGT at full load. You should easily exceed
max EGT(~1250F) before getting much smoke at full load.

If you have a smoking issue, 1st, check your pump timing.

If you smoke under non-boost conditions, the screw on top of the aneroid
is for that. If you smoke at partial boost, the star nut under the
diaphragm is for that.
