OK... Flush it out a bit, replace hoses, test the oil cooler in place, oil
pressure test on the head and then a compression test...
If it's obviously blown, well I'll have plenty to do and make it all good...
If not, I'll pray it was just tired hoses...
When you say small return line do you mean back to the expansion tank from
the head? (it comes from the top hose that split...  it's a 22mm hose with a
restriction at the head end)  The only "small line" I can see is between the
expansion tank and the reservoir...
