[Vwdiesel] 1.6L cold start-idle speed?

Hmmmm....that's funny.  On my 88 Jetta there was a definate increase of idle
speed when you pulled the cold-start knob out.
Aprox 200rpm or so as I recall.

  Guess I'll just leave it alone for now, until I figure out if the beast
will pass a safety inspection.  Then I'll start tinkering
with things like that.
