[Vwdiesel] starting a freshly installed engine ??

I second the idea of towing it to start it. Absolutely
my favorite way to do it. No wear on the starter, the
engine can be turning over at running revs, and the
oil pump will be going the entire time. (Vs. the on
off thing of cranking with the starter and then
waiting for it to cool down.) If you need a hand I
could probably even help, since I'm in the area. I
live just outside Gresham. Just let me know. Not that
I'm a pro, but I'm pretty good with diesels and have
been working with them for many years.

Good luck!
Erik
