[Vwdiesel] Project Bondo Golfy-fuel mileage 1.6L NA Golf??

I've always gotten better mileages with mine. I drive
somewhat conservatively...

50 mpg US consistently with my 81 jetta 1.6NA.
Sometimes on long trips it would average a bit better,
but normal everyday stuff would hit 50 almost every
time.

45 with my 82 Audi 4000S 1.6NA. I suspect that the
injectors are shot on that one and I have new nozzles
for it, but haven't gotten around to doing the job
yet. It's taken back seat to many other things. Not
least of which is a brand new radiator that's sitting
on the passenger seat right now waiting on me getting
some new rad mounts cause the old ones were all busted
up. Glue MIGHT do it, but I think they won't cost
much...

Can't wait till I can sell off a couple other cars so
I can use that as my driver again! :)
