[Vwdiesel] It's Alive!!! (Too)

  Gee, hit ONE lousey enter key and off goes my mail before I've even 
hitched any verbiage to it!
  Dad and I went at it a dab yesterday and then finished getting the pickup 
back together today!  :-)  Not a spec of smoke once we finally got fuel 
back up to the pump and started.  :-)  Just a bit of flaked carbon the blew 
out of the pipe. 
  All in all, it was one toasted head (still need to get a couple pics of it 
taken and up), a new head gasket and one injector.  Luckily I had a 
correct nozzle in a box of nozzles I have.  It fired right up, once it had 
fuel, idled smooth as could be and Dad said everythign seemed fine 
except for a rattle or vibration.  
  Amazing that I got a good half turn on the first warm-up retorque.  Of 
course it's Raceware so the threads are more fine.
  Even got some electrical cleaning done on the Jetta so I don't have to hit 
3500rpm to get the alt light to go off! 
  Anybody need any plasma coated exhaust valves that have had the stems 
shortened a bit for reground seats?  I have  a whole set of intake and 
exhausts or I'll just clean them up and toss them in the box for the "next" 
rebuild.
