[Vwdiesel] diesel outboards?

Anything is doable, just have to have the time and money to accomplish it
some times. Hook up a dry sump might work. Although now thinking of it, the
oil return would be interesting. Maybe better to hook it up as an
inboard/outboard setup? Cooling shouldn't be an issue if you have it pull
the water from the lake/ocean as a water source. 






hi kids...
so..a friend and i have a couple old 15oo na
diesels  motors that still run nicely ..sitting in
storage.
we also have just acquired a 150 horsepower
outboard. with a spare leg.(came with old cheap
boat)
which got us thinking...
:o)
dose anyone think the vw na diesel...could run
mounted in a vertical oriented position?
obviously with a different kinda oil
pump..external oil tank..
cooling it would also be fun...but..any ideals?


think its do-able?
need to have 'play' project for winter... :o)
