Makes me think that Loren should get going on Dieselfest NW  for next
year.

  I've been complating seeing if enough would be interested in throwing a 
get-together together for two or three weeks from now?  Sometimes the 
weather is nice, sometimes not. It's just hit or miss in October. That's 
why I want to do the true dieselfest some time in the Summer.  If 
we can come up with some consensus, I'll set a date and we'll just do 
it next year and try to make it annual.  I figure the beach is a good place 
for it.  I don't know what would work best for most though, a holiday 
weekend or just a regular weekend in July or August?  The fourth of 
July is a great long weekend there as is Labor day but then rooms 
and trailer park spaces are in shorter supply for those who'd want 
one and more people in town.  Regular weekends are getting busier 
but not bad.  This time of year, reduced rates are usually in effect. 
  There's also the thought of a get-together here for those that'd 
like to meet this year.  Apple harvest is about over but there might 
still be Fujis coming off so I can arrange some wandering through 
Baird Brothers orchard, maybe the local packing shed, etc.  If 
Cascade Helicopters was still in business I could get us in there too.  
Might be able to pull something with the new heli place around.
  I'm a bit tight on room here but with a little help we could shuffle some 
remnants around and have plenty of sleeping bag room in our carpet 
store.  :)
