I bet a case of beer it will run at 200 Psi compression..

It would veryt likely run but I'd about bet you that case of beer that
without coasing it down a hill, you'll never get it turning over fast
enough to start.

Easy to get pump 180 out. If you just pull things apart before setting
to TDC #1 or things get worked on, etc, then the pump pin easily fits
in the hole 180 from the correct one. Seems like I'd encountered one
that had the notch mark 180 out but I may have been going by marks
and numbers on it just as well. Took me a few before I noticed that
mark. ;-) They just WON'T start that way since the firing order is
wacked then. Strangely it's in a different part of the pump cam as
well. You'd think it'd be exactly symmetrical.

When you pressurize the tank you can just open the bleed screw on
top of the filter housing. :-) I also make sure to get the air out of the
return side. If there's air in there then it'll allow fuel to siphon out of
the pump, down the inlet side before you get everything tightened up
and turn the key (sometimes). :-P
