Sure happy to see Gary Bangs back --- his house and Rabbits did not get blown out
to sea. (pun intended).

Gary to put it to bed please post it again under "Nozzles". otherwise it can not be found
by future newbies..

My comments about Nozzles :

Day one (years ago) I had a bucket full of used nozzles --and being a CHEAPSKATE major.
I cleaned and fiddled fartet around ----till Loren said --GET NEW NOZZLES.

At say 60 dollars Ca for a Rabbit ? get em. I pay 15 dollars for nozzles each
and it is the way to go. It takes the guesswork out of how many miles on nozzles.
Make sure you record mileage when installing.

I am an experimenter class one---- lets try it. So I am driving the nicest running
non smoker Rabbit 1.6 L turbo with 1.5 L NA nozzles . 78 miles pr gallon Imp.
20 years old and a sweetheart to drive every day. about 300 000 Km on clock.
Never overhauled turbo or engine. For daily use LDA is not used (ECO mode).
For jackass Mountain I flick a switch ---and bingo about 100 HP and a smokescreen
to keep the PIGS confused. (RCMP).

Hagar.

PS : In Germany MB actually lap in pintles on used injectors. An yes you can do so
on VW Bosch injectors. Did I do ? bet your ass --but it is NOT the way to do.
Go the Loren way.
