Amen to that for helped person of the month. I do feel like Mr. October. I 
admit to being flat out amazed at the help extended me and I am grateful 
for each and every comment, more than I can respond to individually. Even I 
am getting sick of seeing my name in my mailbox.  This list is unusual. I 
have other interests and have been on other lists but never one where 
people from across the country or half way across the world (Mark) seemed 
to take a genuine interest in someones problem.  My intention is to see 
this through, and will make it run and share exactly what the problem 
was.  I can't tell you how much I have learned. I have a long way to go and 
fear more stupid mistakes to make.
Hagar, as for my block numbers you will have them tonight I am not holding 
out on you :) btw it is a '86 NA hydraulic engine with hydraulic head no 
mixing of hydraulic and non hydraulic. The '89 part is my Jetta itself. My 
original '89 also hydraulic NA engine is junk from day 1 when I bought the 
car. It is the one with the dropped pre-combustion plug that trashed 
everything so it is not part of this equation. I am told that is quite 
unusual also. See it looks like you can count on me to deliver unusual 
problems.
