Any diesel that will start, in a car that can be rendered roadworthy with
small repairs, is going to be worth big bucks from now on.
That's why I'm collecting them right now (I have 4 on the property today,
all running, 2 requiring some TLC, brakes, electrical clean up, etc.)
The latest one (today, $200CD) is for my son who has finally come to his
senses about driving the V8 Dakota 4x4 on his regular commute to work.
It'a a 91 cream puff, NA engine great (200,000km) not a speck of rust,
excellent black paint, just dirty under the hood.
I'm replacing the battery cables tonight. How do those idiots expect a small
mild steel bracket, bolted to an aluminum tranny to be a main ground point?
2 rusty connections, one steel/aluminum, the other steel/brass. Main other
work, brakes, windshield.
I expect the kid to cherish this one like I do Goldie.
Otherwise I repo.
I have a line on one more, don't really need it, but for inventory.
