It runs ! (yaaaaaaaaay!)
I still haven't fitted a battery , but hooked up the booster cables to my
truck, cranked it over about 10 times. (it actually sputtered on the 3rd
crank).....and on the 11th crank it caught and ran.
I see (or hear) it needs a muffler, but a guy @ work is giving me a FREE one
from his 91 Golf that he never used (I hope it's the same).
Brakes are very soft. I see the fluid is down some, so maybe a leak?
Window is frigged on passenger side (no windup mechanism installed ---it's
in the trunk.)
Heater core has a small leak (instant mist on the windshield)
No blower motor fan. (maybe it's something simple.........wire, fuse, switch
?)

OK all for now!

I just hope it's not rotted out and won't pass a safety test w/o major work.
