[Vwdiesel] Clutch problems ? Was clutch cable install ?'s ...

I'll go check for that. When adjusting the cable, there was definitely a
sweet spot. When in gear, push in the clutch all the to the floor save
for the last inch. If you go further, you can watch the rpms start to drop
a little. I have set it up now so that you have to have your foot all the
way to the floor, there is no last inch to go ( you can pull up on the
clutch lever about 1/8" ) When you release on the pedal, well that's
obvious, you go ! Now here's the current problem. It still clunks when
going into gear. Moreso reverse than first. Reverse just clunks when you
put it in gear. First doesn't clunk, but is difficult to get into position.
I sure hope I don't have to do a clutch. Last thing I need right now ....

Derek
