Huh? Why can't you just replace the brake lines with new "universal" lines
available at any auto parts store? Am I missing something?
If the body is too far gone, that's one thing, but you shouldn't have to
scrap the car just because the brake lines gave out.
Swapping a car from gas to diesel isn't that bad of a job from what I've
read as long as you have both cars, as you do, but I'll let someone else who
has actually done it fill in the details.
