I am doing a low mileage 87 carat NA diesel transplant. The engine is in and
running
beautifully, now some finishing touches, exhaust system, tidy up fuel
system, tie off unused
electricals, and a paint job. It will be a partner to my 87TD (500,000km)
until it disolves, then
the TD will go in to the Carat. Mechanically, everything fits without
modification, electrically,
things get much simpler than gasser.,(will be glad to discuss glow plug
solution if asked).
Fuel system requires a little ingenuity, but goes together completely logically.

Be sure to salvage ALL diesel related parts from donor, (including the fuel
filter bracket)

Sandy
