WRT Bon Ami uk version...
My 'Q' does not smoke but may well be burning oil in the
vapour coming from the rocker cover. The engine has done
about 180000 miles
 and is on its second body as it was changed by the previous
owner... does not shake  (much) on tick over so I dont feel
it is one rogue set of rings/bore.
 I will check that its not coming from a stem guide.. but I
dont think so as the head has only done about 25000miles. It
starts on first/second rev using
 glow plugs but struggles when 2 are blown...
Assuming that the rings are worn but complete and the bores
are still circular but glazed, would  the Bon Ami do
anything to prolong rebuild?
Original injectors AFAIK...I did nothing to them; and of
course they cant be too bad as I'm getting that mileage 48
to 60 mpg imp
