  I wouldn't expect it to.  Dad has/had a similar problem with three 6.9
Fords but from the start.  After about 35K miles they were still using 
oil so they tried Bon Ami.  You could hear a difference, see the blowby 
drop, then back to "normal."  Didn't do a thing and good old FoMoCo 
doesen't require the non-purchased-from dealers to honor warrantee 
work.  So, with the several hour drive to the dealer they bought them 
from and busy time of the year, they went out of warranty before they 
could get them re-ringed, (re-rung??).
