[Vwdiesel] 5 cylinder td engine or running car

  I think he's talking about putting an '82 - '83 Audi TD engine to put in 
either a Quattro, 4000 5+5, later 5000, 100, 200, 80, 90, etc.  I'd had 
thoughts of doing that to a 4000 Quattro but the engines just don't seem 
to die so it's hard to go to all that trouble to replace a good engine in 
a car I didn't yet own with a hard to find engine.
  I'd considered trying to import a TDI 5 for the '37 truck project, maybe 
even a Quattro tranny and make it 4wd!  Too spendy, hard to find, low 
on power (maybe) and hard to fit in.  :-(
