Yep, one only needs to check out my pics for a reminder of what they look like!
These were original VW bearings, as was everything else in the engine. All other
bearings were fine, but int shaft were falling apart = 25psi hot oil pressure max.
And I imagine if they bothered to tank the block with caustic, then did nothing to the
bearings, this can't help them either...
