[Vwdiesel] head bolt spacer

This would also come into play if you have resurfaced the head in the
past.  Any thought on this?

  Had a 1.5 head surfaced to the valves.  Went on just fine.  Doubt it's 
worth 
a .030 to .040 (in extreme cases of surfacing) spacer.  It'd just get in the 
way, twist or such.  Most would be more like .010 inch.  There's not a lot 
of extra room but it's not THAT tight.  :-)  Easier to grind a couple thou 
off 
of the end of the bolt.
