Good ideas but they fall short IMO.  It is easy to go into the engine
compartment with premade clip jumpers directly to the + battery post and
apply power to the FI pump solenoid and also apply power to the glo plug
buss if you know what you are doing. A thief specifically after a diesel
probably would. I think the ultimate answer would be a hidden fuel shutoff
valve in the supply line to the FI pump that cannot be seen.  How about a
manual petcock in the trunk hidden from view that you close at night.
