[Vwdiesel] COLD morning start

Greetings from sunny Texas!  I got up this morning to a temp of 9  
degrees F on my back porch.  I figure that by the time I actually  
went out to start the 98 it was around 12 degrees.  I glowed twice  
and she turned over slow two times and then lit right off, not even  
any stumble.  You gotta love these TDI's.  Can't wait to get the TDI  
into my Caddy.  I have been a bit sidelined due to some major  
differences between the airbox for a nonAC truck and one with AC.  I  
had to cut an extra hole (for the recirculation) and now I find I  
must enlarge the hole for the fan intake area.  Oh well, hopefully by  
the end of the December break, I will have the AC and the wiring all  
done.  BTW tonight it is even supposed to be colder!! Hayden
