[Vwdiesel] RE:Bad fuel

I just wanted to say thanks, its something I never had thought of before. It
would seem to me, however wouldn't it be a huge liability for station
owners, if they were caught with PCB tainted fuel?
I suppose that would be the case if anyone ever tested the fuel at the pump.
I have noticed that my mileage can vary widely depending on where I get my
fuel, the Shell station near my home that has been 4 or 5 cents cheaper a
gallon than any other station in the area, usually sells diesel that cuts my
mileage by 20% after a couple of tanks I figured something was not right
with the fuel, after the first tank, I checked the air in the tires and
replaced the air filter and fuel filter with no improvement. I figured it
was the fuel, but never gave a thought to deliberate cutting of the fuel.

Thanks again for bringing it up

Steve
