[Vwdiesel] Checking Trans Ratios

Would someone with a tach and a known transmission listed in one of my 
charts mind comparing the speeds you see indicated with what is given in 
my chart? (also indicate what tires you have) 

The numbers for Vanagons seem reasonable (compared with my '88 
ACW trans), but the Jetta numbers seem to read higher than expected - I 
seem to recall an indicated 100km/h at 3150 RPM with my ACH trans and 
195/60R14 tires. The chart shows more like 117km/h.

My current car doesn't have a tach yet, so I can't check it. Thanks.
