[Vwdiesel] VW Caddy for Sale

Hi Guys,
After driving the Caddy for 11 years, I finally traded it in on Nissan Frontier.  Am having second thoughts. I went by Champion Nissan, Katy, Texas and it was on their used car lot for $4000.  The salesman recognized me and asked if I wanted to buy it back.  Said they would take $2500 for it.  It is in excellent shape with a BAE Turbo, good paint, and Jetta Seats. The red paint is in good condition.  It had been averaging 42 mpg in town with AC in use.  There is a minor oil leak between the head and block and the temperature gauge quit working when I drove it to the dealer.  It has camper shell and bed liner.  The headliner needs to be re-covered.  This is no longer my car and I have no interest in it other than emotional. I am posting this just in case anyone is interested. I would guess it could be bought for $2250.  Many new parts installed over the years.  I came quite close to buying it back today.  It has 101K miles on it with the engine rebuilt at 80K.
 
  I have lots of spare parts including a complete turbodiesel engine which has been disassembled, but boxed together if anyone is looking for parts.  The block needs to be re-bored and the head is slightly warped.  I also have a brand new set of injector nozzles for a 1.6 NA which arrived after the sale.
