Cool. Thanks Lee.
For some arcane reason known only to elves living in my laptop, I can't get
Bently to run over at the shop. Thanks.
So I guess leaving a 9 volt battery plugged into the lighter socket would be
a bad thing... hmmm. Hope I can still find the radio code. :-)

I gave up and came back home to open it on the home computer, but it's
blowing so hard I don't feel like walking the 1/4 mile back to the shop. Big
storm going on, you prolly heard about it if they ran out of things to talk
about on the news.
Stay in, sit back, play guitar, relax.
Gnight, and thanks again.
-James

Geez, nobody has answered James' question yet?

IIRC, procedure would be to disconnect the battery and short the positive
and negative leads from the car together, that way there is no way a current
could develop between the two. Then, wait an appropriate amount of time
before ripping into things - I'd guess 10-15 minutes should suffice. I can
look at my manual if you want the official word.

I'm sure you know, but industry standard for airbag wiring is all yellow.
DON"T mess with any yellow wires while the battery is connected!
