I have to say, "this is an impressive BB".
Good work on your replies concerning diesel jell temps and more.
You shared knowledge of paraffin, wax, blended diesel grades #1&2,
camp stove fuel, kerosene, gasoline, Vaseline, 10-20 F degree precipitation
and freeze points, vital tank screen, filter fault areas, Bosch VE pumps, and
additives.
It is 13 F degrees outside now.
My 1986 4dr/5spd/Golf 1.6 L diesel 360,000 miler is running well.
I purchased a 32 oz bottle of "Power Service" for $5.58 US.
Supposed to treat 100 gals to -40 f degrees.
I used about 4 oz and reckon 7 to 8 tank fills per bottle.
So, old paint should be good for the rest of this winter.
Thanks for the wealth of tried & proven experiences you have shared with all.
I'm glad I found this BB.
