J C Penney had their answer for the Diehard.  The JC Penney Battery.
I went through a few of them, but after 10 years, even with the receipt,
they didn't want to replace it.  A big fuss at Christmas shopping time,
and they gave me a Delco battery, and dropped the warranty.  So much
for corporate promises.  For cars, I tend to now buy the low end 
battery.  For the tractor, I still buy the higher end battery, as 
I consider a tractor rough service, and don't know how those batteries
might vary from the standard auto fare.
