  Good idea as long as it doesn't get too cold, the fluorescents don't work
well when it's not warm.

 How about a 12v test light? Double duty. The other thing might be one of
those jump start packs - I have one and it has a small light built-in.

 I've seen smallish magnetic-mount incandescent lights that had a crank like
a fishing reel to wind up the cord when you weren't using them. You could
use the cigarette lighter plug or snip it off and put clips on if you'd
prefer that.

 Or just throw a LED flashlight in the toolbox and forget about it. :-))
