Congrats!  That would be really nice to get here as well. I have been trying
to drive as easy as possible myself on this tank. So far I have gone 540
miles and I'm still above a 1/4 tank. I'm hoping my 91 TD Jetta will do
well. I also have to remember that I only have 1600 miles on the freshly
installed rings. Mileage should improve as time goes on. I still find it odd
the amount of smoke I get out the back. It is mostly dark grey to light grey
and not all the time which really gets me. My oil consumption is surprising
as well. I can go a full tank without having to put oil in. Not like before
where I was going 400 miles to a quart of oil. Since I have low miles on it
and have changed the oil in it already I have not had to add any oil to it
because it was down to the add. So with that I'm well pleased. I figure once
I get rid of my cat things will improve.
