Crikey 'H' that was a slow response to my posting; you really do winkle those little nuggets out of the list :o)
Its the Swedes with their'United Stirling' built boats buses subs using the 'Phillps' designed engines. I think the oil Co's have perpetually suppressed coverage...
What happened to Ford US and the United Stirling 'colaberation in the form of the 1974 Ford Taunus estate(waggon)

Sometime ago a member mentioned the
tirling" --- I was a little hasty -- in my own
mind dismissing it due to the low power per
pound. Was it Mark Shepherd who mentioned it
  ---very likely.

It may very well fit in with a Rabbit Hydrogen
system. ---- LOX and Diesel-fuel ? ---that
could be a low pollution possibility. Remember ?
the Oxygen as a byproduct of making Hydrogen from
water. --it fits right in.
I have connection to a farmer on the prairies who
made a big Stirling from a big V8 diesel engine.
lost contact with him for the time being.

This forum has had discussions of many different
power systems and Fuels etc. With 60 dollars a
barrel US ?---- that interest is not about to die.
IMHO.
Gary Bangs are you listening ? ---- I am
following the USA BRAC going ons ---and closing
Submarine bases ? --IMHO is bad idea.

Hagar. the OLD experimenter.
