I appreciate the confirmation of the 
voltage drop idea.  I think that a relay is the way to go.


  NOW, I wonder what's the cause of the problem?  Of course neither 
vehicle did this when new. I put in a new starter and that helped due 
to the bad condition of the original but there's still a bit of a problem. 
Fuse/relay panel?  Seems to be an inline engine body style problem 
only.  I only have wiring diagrams for Dasher up to about '76 anybody 
have ones covering the Quantum and Dasher diesels?
